Meet Heidi Snyder! With an extensive background in healthcare IT and a genuine passion for making a difference, Heidi plays a pivotal role as a Project Manager. Let's dive into her story and discover the incredible journey that brought her to TempDev.

Before joining our team, Heidi held the position of Director of IT and Health Information Management for a mid-size gastroenterology group. With years of experience under her belt, she decided to embark on a new path, exploring small business ownership. However, her unwavering dedication to healthcare IT led her back to the industry, and she was drawn to TempDev's exceptional reputation and expertise. Choosing to pursue a new career in healthcare IT, Heidi knew she had found the perfect place to channel her passion and drive.

As a Project Manager at TempDev, Heidi focuses on the technology aspect of our projects. She plays a crucial role in the successful rollout of NextGen EHR and EPM projects, utilizing her expertise in project management, training, system implementation support, project coordination, application configuration, workflow re-engineering, change management, and go-live support. With her comprehensive approach and attention to detail, Heidi ensures that our clients receive top-notch solutions that align with their needs and drive positive outcomes.

Heidi's decision to work in healthcare stems from her belief that healthcare IT is an incredibly exciting field. Its ever-evolving nature presents opportunities to leverage technology for the betterment of providers and patients alike. 

Of course, no journey is without its challenges. For Heidi, re-entering healthcare IT from a different angle was a significant hurdle. However, she overcame it by closely working with her fellow peers at TempDev, learning from their experiences, and combining her previous expertise with the new role. This collaborative spirit and willingness to embrace new perspectives have been instrumental in her success.

When asked about her most memorable client experiences or greatest achievements, Heidi modestly acknowledges the impact she has made on the clients she has worked with thus far. While she doesn't single out a specific achievement, she takes pride in knowing that she has played a part in helping clients overcome their challenges and move closer to their desired outcomes.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Heidi has a vibrant personal life. She resides just outside Ann Arbor, MI, and finds joy in spending time with her family. Married with three daughters and two adorable granddaughters, Heidi cherishes moments shared with her loved ones. Additionally, her family includes two beloved sibling cats named Gigi and Fernando, who bring an extra dose of happiness to her home.

Outside of work and family, Heidi's passions extend to the great outdoors. She is an avid off-road cyclist, exploring gravel and dirt roads, singletrack mountain biking, and engaging in cyclocross adventures. Endurance trail running also finds its way into her active lifestyle. As a certified bike mechanic, she enjoys getting her hands dirty and wrenching on bikes in her spare time.

To unwind on the weekends, Heidi admits her weakness for a truly delicious stone oven pizza. Additionally, she appreciates the artistry of craft beer, and indulges in the occasional smooth and satisfying bourbon.

Looking ahead to her goals for 2023, Heidi emphasizes the importance of spending more quality time with her cherished granddaughters and daughters. She also seeks to continue building her fitness level, continually challenging herself and embracing new adventures.

As a parting piece of advice, Heidi shares a simple yet profound mantra: "Be kind. It really does go a long way." In a world that often presents challenges and uncertainties, Heidi believes that kindness has the power to create connections, foster understanding, and bring about positive change.
