TempDev's 10th Anniversary

TempDev's Beginnings as a NextGen Consulting Firm

Ten years ago on July 7, 2007, in a home office off the kitchen of my apartment in Silicon Valley, I first began my tenure as Founder and CEO of TempDev, a NextGen consulting firm. My goal was to offer fresh, cutting-edge SQL & template development and consulting services to a client base of physicians and medical facilities that had a clear need for help with their NextGen EHR & EPM.

Within a few years I had a team of dedicated professionals around me, as passionate about the TempDev vision as I was, and still am. Outstanding NextGen consulting teammates like Marti Buurkarl, Vanessa Reilly, and Allison Placido were some of the very first members of the TempDev family. Even then, our focus on innovation and staying ahead of the curve showed true, as the 2009 HITECH Act federally enforced the quality reporting programs we were already assisting our clients with. It's interesting to think that we've been witness to so much that has happened within the industry including Meaningful Use, ICD10, and the transition to value based care.

Ten years after it all began, I am so honored to look back at what we have accomplished together by successfully partnering with innovative clients. We are now a nation-wide consulting organization, with 28 dedicated employees, offering 349 combined years of healthcare experience. We have extended our family to our over 500 hundred amazing clients, partnering to implement 96 KBM upgrades and counting. Now, with the advent of MACRA, Advanced APM and MIPS, we have yet another way to continue to assist our clients in their mission to deliver the highest quality of care to their patients.

Looking back at the last ten years, watching NextGen EHR & EPM grow from a luxury to a necessity, I am proud of how TempDev consultants were there to support our clients every step of the way. I am grateful to our clients for trusting and partnering with us, and truly grateful and honored by the strength, loyalty and commitment of my TempDev family. I look forward to many more years of partnership, innovation, and as always, results. Thank you for ten amazing years. Happy birthday TempDev!
